And then I came across this powerful YouTube video a few days ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHW1y-FpyII Whilst it doesn't mention long covid specifically, it highlights what the Govt. has stopped doing to prevent it. It's also stoked my anger and made my BP go through the roof so I have decided to not make a submission, for the sake of keeping my body regulated. I need to trust that more eminently qualified individuals than myself will echo my thoughts and share the same difficulties I'm experiencing. And that includes finding a new GP who will take my hypertension, ME/CFS and other long covid symptoms seriously. Cheers, Belinda

Hi Sally Yes Ive been using it for a couple of weeks on my iPhone 12 and find it does a pretty good job of tracking my "stability". Doing a nightly symptom check-in with the ability to customise which symptoms to track is ok but hopefully in future they will include the ability to log symptoms as they occur. The morning check-in lets you log your sleep quality as well as using the camera & flash to check your heart rate and HR variability. I dont quite understand how the phone & app can measure these vitals, but so far the stability score that comes from the morning check-in has been a good indicator of how far I can push or pace myself each day.

Hey Sally After sharing my story on an international website last week someone suggested I check out Dysautonomia. Whilst none of the common types of Dysautonomia seemed to match what I'm experiencing, a less common type (Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia) does. In fact my heart beats so fast it even wakes me up in the middle of the night. Then to confuse the situation, over the last few days I've been having dizzy spells when getting in and out of bed, which is more like POTS. I'm due to see my GP again mid February and all she wants to investigate is a sleep study for why I'm so tired all the time. Its all so frustrating!
