Hey, my name is Sam and I've just joined this community!
I've been struggling with headaches and fatigue as my main symptoms and have been reading quite a bit online about the neurological effects that long covid has on the brain - has anyone else been experiencing these side effects?
I must say that it's been making my life fairly difficult to manage day to day.
Would love to hear others thoughts on this!
Hi Emma
Welcome to the community and thank you for sharing your experiences with us. It sounds incredibly difficult and complex. Have you spoken to your GP about referrals that they could make to services? They can refer you to all sorts of specialists for your symptoms.
Depending on where you live, there might be some help to be found through this resources https://www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/getting-help-for-long-covid
There may also be Not For Profits or Charities in your local area that have programs that could help support you and your child, again your GP might know of them or where to direct you. I hope that is a helpful place to start.
