Hi Folks, has anyone else been having weird dreams since getting covid? I have very vivid and very strange dreams and this seems to have started since my second bout of covid. The dreams are not disturbing or worrying, they are almost amusing.

100% relatable all of this…. I’ve been hit with peri/myocarditis also, as well as vestibular neuritis. The nightmares and visual / auditory hallucinations have been absolutely debilitating and beyond scary for myself… I’ve been given some olanzapine which gave me my first nights full rest with no nightmares for about a month now.
It’s hard to see what life will be like after this, does anyone else feel like they’re trapped in some sort of cave that doesn’t seem to have an opening?
I've noticed some odd things too. Such as scratches that take months to heal, sense of smell finally coming back and being hypersensitive, eye sight having trouble to focus(especially in the morning), hearing impairment on occassions and a lack of flatulence (can be a good thing, but probably a dietary issue). I'm hoping all these things will sort themselves out with time.
As for the dreams mine I think are mostly anxiety induced and revolving around my return to work plans and my inability to control my physical barriers. They are quite vivid and I am left to wonder whether they are dreams or reality sometimes.
Yes, nightmares have been a struggle for me during my long-covid journey… Auditory and some visual hallucinations have come and gone too. Is anyone else familiar with this? No history of mental illness etc prior to my diagnosis…
